Hello, and welcome to Love and Cuddles Ltd, the baby signing club with a difference. Yes, we want you and your baby to learn how to sign but even more importantly we want you both to have fun in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you will be sure to meet lots of likeminded people.

Here at Love and Cuddles, we know just how important your baby is to you and we can't wait to help you both communicate with each other in new and exciting ways. Baby signing, when used in conjunction with speech, has been shown not only to enable babies from as young as six months to communicate their basic needs effectively but also to increase the rate at which they develop spoken language.

Lots of people have asked us how we are different from other baby signing clubs, the answer is a combination of different factors which we believe you will like:

All of our songs, including the music, have been written especially for us.
Every two weeks we change our exclusive stories, which include new signs for you and your baby.
We charge per session, meaning not only do you not have to pay a large sum upfront, but also that if you miss a week there is no charge.
All of our groups open 50 weeks a year. We do not close during school holidays as we know many parents would still like to meet during these times. If you have older children, you are welcome to bring them along with you.

What happens At Sign and Learn with Love and Cuddles sessions?

We at Love and Cuddles believe that fun is the most important ingredient in our sessions. Alongside lots of fun, we have singing, stories, our mascot 'Cuddles', and very importantly time for Mummies (and Daddies) to have a coffee and a chat.

How old do babies have to be before they can come to Sign and Learn session?

Babies can come to sessions as soon after their birth as you would like to bring them. We run two different types of sessions; one for babies under one year and one for those over a year so we can cater more specifically for the individual needs of each group.

I've heard that signing with your baby can affect the development of speech, is this true?

Yes, there is certainly evidence that signing with your baby alongside ordinary speech will promote their development and enable them to acquire language more quickly.
